Local Councillor, Ross Henning is standing for re-election to Wiltshire Council in Lowdon & Rowden in this year's local election.
I'm a born and bred Chippenham person who, for most of my life, has worked as a self-employed builder.
I know this town like the back of my hand and I'm well known among Chippenham residents. Very much a grass roots community person I am known as a straight talking, friendly, approachable councillor.
My achievements have been many over the years, but I don't rest on my laurels.
I'm currently working on setting up a Community Hub in an empty shop in Borough Parade, revitalising the Chippenham Community Safety Forum, chairing the Housing Design Guide group on the emerging Chippenham Neighbourhood Plan as well as supporting young people and the vulnerable who have suffered the most during this pandemic.
I have worked with the Youth Offending Team and with the police on Restorative Justice.
I do my casework for my residents who come to me for help and hope you will think I do a good job of keeping people informed of the issues in my area.
